A POEM OF COLORS – RED

That which gives heat,
Color not always given
A pulsation of life,
That which beats and bridges throughout
That which is proof of life,
All in best when not bled

A tear like splay of beauty, midst the thorns and bramble
A couplet of tears, to form that emotion of sought compassion,
Though can equally be of ill sought indifference,
Or of the renewed giving to others
