A Nature of other natures

The rain comes
And went away
But the empty vessel stays transfixed

The water goes
And takes along the raft
E’er finding softer souls to ground

The flame does sway
And burns out the weak
Leaving a heart of diamonds to be sought

The fire consumes
Never satisfied with its disposition
Exhuming things best forgotten

The air is there
Present to all things
But allows the lost to find their way

The wind sweeps by
Taking out the bite
Of the bitterness that may remain

Lightning came and begone
Changing the estate
But presents them a need for more

Then thunder sauntered through
Warning all who hear
That nature shall have its way, eventually.
