The Mona Lisa Smile

A smile to smile to

Without to insist,

A smile to mimic

All without resist

The smile of knowledge

Graced lips not full,

The smile of acknowledge

Give cheeks a gentle pull.

The smile to stay a while

Nay, a lifetime

The smile to picture

And yet to define

All put as permanent

The smile upon your One,

All as a definite

Upon canvas or paper done

The Mona Lisa smile,

And yet too tender to hold,

A smile as innocent child

For all to portray in thy fold
